Japan Arts Council, Japan Arts Fund (Japanese only)

The site provides information on Japanese film production supporting programs offered by Japan Arts Council, which gathers Japanese national cultural-art institutions one of which are Japanese National Theatre, National Engei Hall, National Noh Theatre, National Bunraku Theatre, National Theater of Okinawa, New National Theatre of Tokyo.

National Film Centre, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (NFC)

Visual Industry Promotion Organisation (VIPO)

The official site of VIPO, Japan's Visual Industry Promotion Organisation which aims at development of moving images and content industry including Japanese films, TV programs, animation, games and music. Along with the information on VIPO's supporting programs, the site provides access to VIPO managed contents industry database Japan Contents Show Case (JapaCON), which includes data of Japanese films officially released in period from 1999 to 2005. Japanese Film Makers Association (Japanese only)

The official site of Japanese Film Makers Association formed in 1995 by Japanese film and video production industry members. The site provides link to 56 film industry company members of Association, information on Association's projects, including its new directors award 'Shindo Kaneto Award', elected by its member producers.

Kawakita Memorial Film Institute

The official site of Film Institute formed by Kawakita who through Film Library Council got involved in film support activities. Together with information on Japanese film screenings, the site provides access to Institute's reference database, which includes both Japanese and foreign film related books, magazines, pamphlets, and event catalogues. Data provided mostly in Japanese.

Japan Film Commission Promotion Council

The official site of Japan Film Commission Promotion Council, which provides all information regarding film, TV drama, and CM shootings in locations covered by film commissions within Japan.

Motion Pictures Producers Association of Japan, Inc.

The site introduces the activities of four leading film production companies in Japan: Shochiku, Toho, Toei and Kadokawa Films, known as 'Eiren'. It provides large statistic data on Japanese film industry alongside 'Eiren DB', which covers most of the works produced and distributed by above-mentioned film production companies.

Motion Pictures Producers Association of Japan, Inc. Data Base (Eiren DB)

The official data base of Motion Pictures Producers Association of Japan, Inc which presents the data of Japanese films produced and distributed by Shochiku, Toho, Toei, Kadokawa Pictures, four member companies of the Association. The database is updated regularly, at present covering the data of Japanese films from year 1990.

Kinema Junpo Movie DB (Japanese only)
