Theme: Necessary legal knowledge for binding an International Co-production contract.
To learn legal measures necessary for bringing International Co-production projects to a contract agreement.

The lecture was conducted by a lawyer in an open-discussion form, while viewing the sample of legally approved contract. It raised issues of the form of contract which is needed for co-production development and discusses the elements that need oor need not to be included in the contract. The lecture also examined troubles which producers may face while concluding the contract.

Profile of a lecturer

Shinomiya Takashi:
Lawyer. Chief Executive of HARTZ LINK Co., Ltd.
Graduate of Keio University, Department of Economy Studies. After working for NHK Enterprise 21 as a Program Director of BS-2 Broadcast program, Shinomiya takes a legal exam in 2001 and in October 2003 gets registered as a lawyer. After legal practice in entertainment industry related to film, music, broadcast, publishing and advertising, Shinomiya opens his own practice and establishes his own company HARTZ LINK Co., Ltd. specialized in media producing.
