Paris Project is a co-production and development platform of the Paris Cinema IFF held in July. It has taken place from year 2003, which is the year festival started. The requirement of application is that project has no French partner attached.
Since Business meeting with French and other European film companies are arranged, the market is very valuable for the projects that aim to co-produce with Europe.

Overview

Officially selected project “DÉJÀ VU CITIES” had total of 24 meetings. That shows how much the project got the tension of sales agents and producers.
Producers from Japan, Philippines, Holland, and Germany attended the workshop and from various lectures, participants learned about the public fund system in France and that gave them a chance to re-acknowledge the conditions of production system in Japan. Producers who attended the workshop could grasp an understanding for conditions of co-production in Asia and Europe by exchanging opinions with highly motivated producers around the world.
